To create fire stations, each team is provided with various fire lighting tools and briefed in the art of fire lighting.

A brilliant group contest, where all groups are in close proximity on the edge of the woodland. Each team has a fire station (two poles 1.5 metres apart with a rope between them a metre off the ground). Teams have a briefing on the skills and art of fire lighting, then 20 minutes to gather all the wood and other natural materials they need to start their fire.

The aim is to get their fire large enough to burn through the rope. The first team to burn through the rope wins the contest!
