Welcome to the Great Escape Company

“The Great Escape”, three simple words put together which 49 years on immediately bring to the minds of all ages – drama, excitement, daring and bravery. When Mark and Alex set up The Great Escape Company in 2008 they wanted to help people, share “old fashioned“ adventures and values in the countryside.

They found the ideal site in spectacular South Shropshire with lakes, a river and woodland extending to 500 acres providing all the space and opportunities needed yet within easy access of the Midlands, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Hereford.

Adventure Activities for Schools & Corporates

The Great Escape Company offer real out-door adventure camp activities for schools and corporates. Our activities are suitable for all ages starting at 6 years and upwards to those who are “young at heart“ (but without the chance to recreate Steve McQueen on his motorbike!) With a clear aim to foster team building and leadership skills. It might be helping your team cross a river, navigate your way across the countryside through various checkpoints completing tasks enroute, team raft building and racing or even building and lighting a fire.
